Beaches:
If it's sandy beaches you crave then you are spoilt for choice. There are miles of beach resorts with good facilities all the way from the top of Abruzzo in the Teramo province to the top of the Chieti province.
For those not keen on sandy beaches, Abruzzo doesn't let you down. The province of Chieti takes over from the sandy beaches to offer stretches of 'blue flag' small pebble beaches to more secluded rocky coves.
