Abruzzo the region:-

Abruzzo is situated in central Italy, facing the Adriatic sea to the east. Abruzzo borders "Marche" to the north, "Lazio" and "Umbria" to the west and "Molise" to the south .

Abruzzo is Italy encapsulated. From the peaks of the Gran Sasso mountain range to the wild wolves in the national parks; from its medieval hill towns to the parasols of the Adriatic coast, this region has everything the Italian lover could wish for.

Abruzzo is comprised of 4 provinces: L'Aquila (the capital), Pescara , Chieti and Teramo.

Most of the towns in the Abruzzo region build a tangible bridge between tradition and modern-day life. History makes its presence felt almost everywhere in the form of old churches, castles, villas, houses and Palazzi. The artistic and architectural movements over centuries speak to all tastes from rustic to refined. All areas are a paradise for property seekers searching for a second home or a permanent residence.

Foreign tourists are still a rarity in the towns. In contrast to the well known towns of the Italy , the Abruzzo region is still a paradise for Italian authenticity.
